About Us

Stemming back a decade and more to the year of 2013, on a small, creative flatland on the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft, we began the journey. It had no name—nothing official anyway—and at the time it was just Atominizr and Madman building games for themselves and their friends to play. The games were indeed simple, and looking back, a bit hard on the eyes, the rules could only be upheld by the honesty of each player. The idea traded worlds several times, but through trials and tribulations a vision was established, a vision that persisted through the years while Madman stepped away from the world, a vision that was kept alive by Atominizr. When Madman returned in 2019 he found his old partner had recruited some friends to help with the newest version of the world he remembered so fondly, and joined the team to help where he could. With the two original creators together again, the world changed and evolved once more and soon thereafter developed a stride…

We’ve grown alongside this game, and what started as a fun project to consume our free time, quickly bloomed to engulf our attention. We rebuilt and revamped, renovated and recoded, even hosted our world as a server for a stint and launched a website. But my how things change. As the years rolled on our vision for the server became clearer, our ideas grander, and our skills improved in hopes of matching our ambitions. Those hopes however would be forlorn when confronted with insurmountable, technical issues that forced us to re-evaluate our organization. What rose from those days is what you see now. From Atomic Network to Atomic Network Studios, again and again we rebuilt for the sake of a standard we feel is necessary; and along the way we lost some members, but gained new ones that have been instrumental in our expansion. It was not an easy road, nor a fast travel, but we’re glad to be here and now…

A dream is quite the thing. How it molds over time, how it shapes what we will do with our lives. Minecraft was the beginning and we shall never forget that, but our intentions and our sight lead us beyond it. With reverence we will utilize this platform to jumpstart a long-term dream of making video games. A great love from our youth that still exists today; a comfort and nostalgia unrivaled; a legacy of media that we yearn to continue, standing on the shoulders of giants who came before. None of us can say for sure where we’ll be years from now, or what we’ll be working on exactly, because potential is mysterious. We can only promise to uphold the standards of our humble beginnings and to continually extend our catalog of Minecraft content, and all the while prepare to take that leap into a new frontier, carving our name among the giants, however small it may seem by comparison. Passion and potential are interchangeable, and our’s borders on boundless.

I've been interested in coding since I was 11. I have played video games all my life and was fascinated by the way they were made. I have been playing Minecraft since Beta 1.7 and have always been obsessed with the technical side of the game. As Lead Developer I manage the programming team and do a lot of the coding for our projects myself.

Since creative mode entered the scene I’ve rarely, if ever, stepped into a survival world. I’ve been obsessed with building, and was obsessed with video games throughout my childhood. Who knew they’d come together in such a way? As part of the Atomic Network Studios management team I lead our builders, oversee the world’s constructions, and guide the vision of our most ambitious projects. I am also the team's Narrative Director.

Minecraft has always been one of my favorite games, and one of my favorite things to do in Minecraft is hang out with my friends and try to get better at building. My job with the Atomic Network is to make sure everyone is being civil and kind to each other in the discord and I also run our social media pages. I also do a lot of behind the scenes stuff like beta testing and making classes for games.

Despite English being a second language, Polar—who has become a fixture in our world, hailing all the way from Cambodia—has managed to communicate and shape many constructions while in the midst of college. As he studies architecture, his builds reflect his expertise with natural themes and a blast of Asian culture, bringing a unique dynamic to our portfolio. Those contributions have been instrumental in our development and we look forward to seeing more.

I’ve enjoyed working with this team and watching it grow, watching as the world has evolved around us. Large scale projects are not my thing, so I prefer to focus on the little details that make a build pop. I like happy little trees and cozy cabins, rocky landscapes and moss-covered grounds. While still in school, I find time here and there to contribute. I like putting things in this world, and I like making them look good.

Building has always been a way for me to express myself when it seemed that I had no other way to show how I felt to the world around me. Joining this team on this project has given me chances and introduced me to people that I hope to continue to grow with in both technical skill and experience. I am forever grateful for this opportunity and hope to continue to prove myself and produce builds and content that we as ANS can be proud of.
